Photography is always an edited version of reality, and this is one of the key factors to be considered in the work of the Norwegian photographers Verena Winkelmann, Rune Johansen and Per Berntsen. The exhibition Três Fotógrafos Noruegueses featured pieces that, in a certain way, run against the grain of the well-known Norwegian landscape photos – these photographers show that there are also common, dull landscapes; people who may be a little bit odd; urban landscapes deprived of dramatic elements; interior decorations that don’t take into account the aesthetic models set forth by decoration magazines.
