The Museu de Arte Brasileira (MAB, FAAP, São Paulo) presented the work of Mário Testino, one of the most influential fashion and portraits photographers in Brazil. The exhibition, In Your Face – first shown in 2012 at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), Boston, and later at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (MALBA), in 2014 – presented different aspects of Testino’s work in an intimate and provocative view. Various of his boldest and most audacious photos offered the public a privileged look at his world through 120 pictures, personally chosen by him. His unique style and intuitive ability to capture moments by creating emotional connections have made Mário Testino one of the most well-known photographers in the world. In Your Face featured pieces that unite key elements of contemporary culture, inviting the spectators to enter an aesthetically beautiful world, filled with glamour, sensuality and sophistication.
