GIORGIO MORANDI

AND STILL LIFE IN ITALY

This exhibition was held as an homage to Giorgio Morandi, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, and his distinguished contemporaries: Carrà, De Chirico, De Pisis, Morlotti, Severini, and others. It presents a set of 32 pieces made by Italian artists from 1930 to 1960, presenting a wide range of approaches to still-life painting – a genre to which painters have been devoted throughout the centuries.
